Hardware

cloudin is built on the best hardware available. The central storage is composed of two Supermicro SAN. The host nodes are dual Intel Quad Core servers, optimised for VMWare virtualization and connected with redundant 10Gbps links to our SAN. The network itself is based on highly reliable Cisco switches and connected to the backbone via Cisco Routers.

Datacentre

cloudin has its servers housed in a Global Switch datacentre in Paris. This facility delivers:

• guaranteed and redundant power supply
• the highest level of security
• sophisticated fire detection and suppression systems
• 24x7 management, monitoring and maintenance

Network

cloudin is connected to ChtiX backbone. ChtiX itself covers 11 countries and 25 point of presence in Europe. It has a capacity of 400 Gbps with 4 different transit suppliers.
